Musgrave Crumlin Hospital Club Challenge

Our gallant team of Kieran Maher, Ray O'Kelly and Robert Pierce didn't quite make it to the top of the leaderboard in the Leinster final of the Musgrave Crumlin Hospital Club Challenge today in glorious sunshine at Mullingar Golf Club.

The winners on the day were Tullamore with a magnificent 89 points, 10 ahead of the field, and they now head for Portugal in October to represent Leinster in the All-Ireland final.

The day was far from being a total loss because the efforts of the golfers helped raise much needed funds for the Childrens Hospital.

Well done at all concerned.
