Graham Temple Aces the Par 4 First Hole!

Congratulations to Graham Temple who had a hole-in-one on the 246 metre (269 yd) par 4 first hole in the midweek open competition today.

Graham TempleSix handicapper Graham flew the front of the green with his driver off the tee before popping in the hole to claim his Albatross (aka double Eagle). Needless to say, he took all your cash from the 2s club for his efforts!

Graham previously had a hole-in-one at the 17th (only an Eagle!) in a fourball better ball competition last July (story here) and he is fresh from a team victory last Sunday in the Crumlin Rumble (results here) so he is really on a roll.

Did we mention that he also won this year's winter league? (results here) and last year's Matchplay Title (story here)?

We are told by our spies that there were a couple of holes-in-one on the first hole before but they were made before the strip bunker was put in some years ago, making Graham's a considerably greater achievement.
