	The new tee box on the 11th - President Frank Barrett having a look
	Work to lengthen the par three 5th and 11th holes is now nearing completion. The tees on both holes are being moved back 40 metres and 25 metres respectively and this will undoubtedly make these short holes a bit more challenging. The large bunker on the right of the 11th green will also be removed. In addition to this work, substantial drainage is being done on the 2nd, 13th and 16th holes. As is always the case, any changes to the hole indexes will be done next year, after the alterations have been in play for a period of time. Photos by Ronan Quinlan
